69th UN General Assembly

Addressing the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly, President Erdoğan the UN is not doing its part at a time when regional clashes have increased and thousands of innocent people have been killed. Therefore, he said, the trust in the UN has gravely been harmed, underscoring: “The fact that the five permanent members of the UN Security Council have made the institution ineffective in a way that is against the realities of the world is not something which global conscience can accept.”
