First Lady Emine Erdoğan, who is accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his visit to the Republic of South Africa for the G20 Summit, paid a visit to the Yunus Emre Institute and the National Heritage Council Exhibition in Johannesburg.
Sharing a post on her social media account after the visit, First Lady Erdoğan said: “I was pleased to visit the Yunus Emre Institute in Johannesburg, an institution that introduces Türkiye’s voice, the elegance of the Turkish language, and the cultural heritage of Anatolia to the world. The heartfelt melodies performed by the A Cappella Music Group added a special touch to our day. I also visited the National Heritage Council Exhibition, where I took a closer look at the works that bring together the cultural richness of the two regions within the same frame. I wish the Yunus Emre Institute continued success in its valuable endeavors.”
