Holding a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Led by confident, competent, honest and hard-working cadres, Türkiye is today going through its most successful and most productive years of the past century in terms of projects and services in every area. Our Century of Türkiye vision is coming true step by step. Inshallah, we will never allow anyone, any malevolent person at home or abroad, or any circles serving imperialists to hinder this sacred march.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
Drawing attention to the military cargo plane that crashed in the Signagi region near the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, President Erdoğan stated that they found the black box of the plane and the bodies of the martyrs in a short span of time, and that they will see in a clearer manner why this tragic incident occurred in light of the data collected by the relevant units and following the examination of the black box.
“TÜRKİYE IS GOING THROUGH ITS MOST SUCCESSFUL AND MOST PRODUCTIVE YEARS”
Underscoring that they selflessly work to make the Republic of Türkiye be forever victorious and successful, President Erdoğan stressed that they have made Türkiye the seventeenth biggest economy of the world, and seventh biggest of Europe, and added: “Led by confident, competent, honest and hard-working cadres, Türkiye is today going through its most successful and most productive years of the past century in terms of projects and services in every area. Our Century of Türkiye vision is coming true step by step. Inshallah, we will never allow anyone, any malevolent person at home or abroad, or any circles serving imperialists to hinder this sacred march.”
“NO SOLUTION CAN BE BUILT ON INJUSTICES”
Pointing to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus President Tufan Erhürman’s recent visit to Türkiye, President Erdoğan noted that they addressed the joint steps that could be taken for a fair and lasting solution in line with the realities in the Island during the talks, and said: “It is important that Mr. Erhürman has stressed in his recent messages to the Greek Cypriot side that there will be no concessions from the sovereign equality of the Turkish Cypriots. We see the attempts to rehash the proposals, which were repeatedly tried but achieved no results in the past, as a waste of time. As we have underlined on several occasions, the solution to the Cyprus issue goes through the co-existence of the two states. If the Greek Cypriot side displays the courage, will and constructive attitude, displayed by the Turkish Cypriots since the very beginning, a lasting, fair and realistic solution based on sovereign equality and equal international status in the Island can be found. Otherwise, no solution can be built on injustices.”
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK IN DIALOGUE WITH ALL THE ACTORS IN THE REGION”
Drawing attention to the parliamentary elections held in Iraq on November 11, President Erdoğan stated that they are pleased that the elections took place in a peaceful environment without any problems, and went on to say: “Also we gladly follow the momentum gained by Syria in international relations. We preserve our determined stance regarding the implementation of the March 10 agreement that we believe will strengthen the unity, solidarity and integrity of this neighborly country. Türkiye stands ready to make any contribution for the peaceful solution of this issue. As the first anniversary of the December 8 revolution nears, no one should dwell on the past anymore, and all should seek to find the ways to act with a vision of shared future.”
Further noting that Türkiye sees all the peoples in Syria as its brothers and sisters, and wants peace, security and well-being for everyone, President Erdoğan added: “With this understanding, we will continue to work in dialogue with all the actors in the region for the establishment of lasting peace and stability in Syria in the upcoming period.”
“OUR 18TH SHIP OF BENEVOLENCE REACHED AL-ARISH PORT LAST FRIDAY”
Also touching upon the ceasefire reached in Gaza with Türkiye’s contributions as well, President Erdoğan said that despite all the provocations by the Netanyahu government, Hamas stands behind its signature and fulfills all its responsibilities, and continued as follows: “We see that the US administration, Mr. Trump in particular, too, displays a constructive approach on this issue. Although some setbacks caused by Israel are experienced in terms of humanitarian aid, we are delivering our aids to Gaza by using all the current means. Our 18th ship of benevolence carrying 810 tons of humanitarian aid reached al-Arish port last Friday. Also we directed 47 truckloads of supplies to the Rafah border crossing.”
“WE AIM NOT TO SAVE THE DAY, BUT TO BUILD A PROSPEROUS FUTURE”
Pointing out that it is impossible for an environment of peace, stability and security to take root in the region without the establishment of the Palestinian state, President Erdoğan said: “As the occupation in Palestine continues, as Palestine bleeds, and as the Palestinian territories are usurped, frankly speaking, no country in the region can be secure. The door of peace will open to the extent we come closer to the two-state solution based on 1967 borders, and it will close to the extent we move away. I believe that this fact should by no means be disregarded. Türkiye makes all its efforts to that end. We aim not to save the day, but to build a prosperous future. We will work harder, make greater efforts and inshallah ensure that the path to lasting peace in the region will be wide opened in the upcoming period.”
