First Lady Erdoğan attends “Free as the Breeze, Together as One for Palestine” event

First Lady Emine Erdoğan attended the “Free as the Breeze, Together as One for Palestine” charity event, all proceeds of which will be donated directly to the people of Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay).

In a social media post following the charity event, which was organized in Ankara by the Embassy of Spain in Ankara and the Honorary Consulate of Spain in Muğla in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, First Lady Erdoğan said:

“I am pleased to participate in the charity event, ‘Free as the Breeze, Together as One for Palestine,’ which was organized by the Embassy of Spain in Ankara and the Honorary Consulate of Spain in Muğla in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent.

We came together for our Palestinian brothers and sisters during this meaningful event.

The grace and emotion of Flamenco touched the wounded heart of Gaza.

Gathered by the unifying power of arts, we appealed to the conscience of humanity against the ongoing genocide in Palestine.

All proceeds of the event, set to be staged in Istanbul following Ankara, will be donated to the Palestinian people through the Turkish Red Crescent.

I hope this exemplary solidarity, benefaction and compassion will proliferate, ushering in the breaking of a new morning from inside darkness.
