President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay official visits to Sudan, Chad and Tunisia between the dates of 24-27 December 2017.

All aspects of the bilateral relations and cooperation between Turkey and the three countries mentioned above, with each of which Turkey enjoys long-standing historical and cultural ties, as well as the regional and international developments are expected to be addressed during the visits.

Various agreements are also planned to be signed on the occasion of the visits.

The business forums to be held during the visits will enable our businesspeople to come together and discuss the cooperation opportunities with their local counterparts.

The aforementioned visits, a follow-up of the visits President Erdoğan paid to African countries in previous years, are a concrete indicator of our will to further deepen our cooperation with the continent within the scope of our African Partnership Policy.

President Erdoğan’s visits to Sudan and Chad are of historic importance in that they will be the first visits from Turkey to these countries at the Presidential level. Mr. President’s visit to Tunisia, moreover, will be the first visit from Turkey to this country at the Presidential level since 2012.

A large delegation of ministers, officials and businesspeople will be accompanying President Erdoğan during the visits.
