President Erdoğan Visits Turkish Military Base in Qatar

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid a visit to the Turkish military base in Doha as part of his official visit to Qatar.

During his visit to the Turkish Armed Forces’ base in Doha, President Erdoğan talked with soldiers and posed for a photo with them.

Also attending the visit were Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar, Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, Minister of Culture and Tourism Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu, Minister of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan and Undersecretary of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Hakan Fidan.

Completing his programme in Qatar with his visit to the Turkish military base, President Erdoğan thereafter left for Ankara. The President was seen off at Hamad International Airport by Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Turkey’s Ambassador to Doha Fikret Özer and other officials.
