Paying a two-day working visit to Egypt, President Gül, as part of his program, attended the graduation ceremony of the Egyptian Military Academy and met with President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt as well.

Welcomed by the Egyptian PM, Ahmed Nazif, upon arriving at the ceremony, the President watched the parade and demonstrations from the VIP stand.
TURKISH FLAG IN EGYPT’S SKIES
During the ceremony where both the Egyptian and Turkish national anthems were played by the military band, the Turkish flag was waved in Egypt’s skies by parachutists.
President Gül also presented some students their medals. He later attended the luncheon given by President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt for the senior military officials on the occasion of the Graduation Ceremony of the Military Academy.
After meeting with his Egyptian counterpart at the Presidential Palace, the President returned to Turkey.
